ALMOST all of the Time-Off-Festivities are done. Next is New Years, and then it's back to it. It's always this time of year, when I have a few days in a row off, when I start looking into all the things I want to do!
New courses - I want to do Indian Head and Face Massage, Holistic Pain Management and Meridian Psychotherapy.
The New Wild Wood Deck - I'm spending time with it every evening.
Seeds and the garden! I'm planning the spring garden already. This is the time of year I buy my seeds.
Foods! I always want to bake and stockpile food this time of year. Do it all from scratch.
I want to paint my house, (Every room needs it. It's been 11 years in the rental off white.) and clean the whole darn thing and and and...
And then my 5 days in a row off are over, and it's back to it.
I bought a Witches Day Planner, though. In my head, it's TOTALLY going to make all the things happen.

Curious Situations with Curious People.
So. You know how sometimes I get premonitions of stuff, but then I'm worried about self forfilling prophecy? Yeahhhhh. That thing has been going on.
Got a Big Giant Head message, loud and intrusive. And I've been sort of just hanging around waiting for my part in it. It's one of the things distracting me right now.
Also, You know that thing where we manifest exactly what we ask for? That's been happening. I'm finding myself in new and curious situations with new and curious people, and I've been casually reviewing HOW DID I GET HERE? and the WHAT HAVE WE COME TOGETHER TO DO? I'm enjoying the ride, allowing it all to follow the path. Because clearly we have come together for a reason! It's making my datebook a scribbly mess though. Hehe.
I'm pretty trusting in the Universal Flow.
Did a fantastic Psychic-Lori-Medium thing today, in office. I had been finding it REALLY difficult to do those in the office. But today, the client was totally focused (and had a really strong pull with who he wanted... a really strong connection already.) and before hand I had done some "LET'S MAKE THIS HAPPEN!" requests with my guides.
I'm really pleased. I always have that moment though, when I think "Is the client pleased? Was it good for them?"

New Tarot Decks Arrive!
So. I got my NEW Druid Craft Tarot deck. CRAZY how delicious they are to shuffle, compared to the old set. Also, though, another deck.. The Wildwood Tarot. So so so amazingly gorgeous. I want to live there, in those cards, and that's precisely what I do when I'm studing a new deck. I want to dive right in.
They are delightfully primitive, they feel a step deeper than the Druidcraft Tarot. There will be time to get lost in them. But that time isn't quiet yet. I imagine it will be 6 months or so before I'll actually be able to start using them for clients.
Right now, I'm working on manifesting all the Abundance. I've got tarot functions that I'm volunteering for fundraisers, I've got a script I need to get busy memorizing, and the Universe has been giving me so many curious things to taste, I imagine it will be winter before I get to dream along with these lovelies.
Anyway. Thought I would write a quickie to express my absolute joy in having these in hand.

In The Mouth of a Scream. (sometimes I write.)
She had danced a circle from within the skeleton of a metal dome, she pressed herself up next to the earth in the shadow of a fang. The Horsemen gave her their names and positions and surrounded her called corners , keeping danger out, and keeping her inside.
When the man arrived, draped in black long coat and hiding behind a beaked metal eye mask, she was not surprised. His touch was all over this place, and she knew his mind already. His physical being was new however, and she took his form in with her eyes, with the same sense of knowing as he had for her.
He knew how long she had been here. He knew where she had stepped, where she had stopped to admire his work, where she had spoken to ghosts, where she had whipped up strength and where she had made herself vulnerable.
He knew where she slept in the corners and crevices of his land, where she made fires to dance around.
He knew how she woke with chipmunks curled into the corners and crevices of her body, and with spiders in her hair.
It had taken days for him to decide to come for her.
She sat in a stone circle, and stood to meet him. No words were spoken, and no outward smiles were necessary. There, came a knowing between them.
His mouth moved under the mask to say, "Witch, will you come into the castle."
And as her arms fell, the Screaming Heads went quiet, to hear her say, "Yes."
The sky darkened quickly as he led her up and down the paths worn in grass to his castle. The rain began. Across the river on the barge, up the hills past the web, the Horsemen watched their ascent in silence.
Her slippered feet left wet prints on his stony floors. He led her up and up to the highest turret room. A small room, with a mattress on the floor under many pillows and coloured blankets. Books stacked in corners, half melted tapered candles balanced in their own wax on the large windowsill that opened out onto the properties assorted sharp fangs and reaching hands.
He removed his boots.
She kicked off her slippers.
He removed his long coat and hung it carefully on a hook on a wooden door.
She lifted her dress over her head and heedlessly tossed it to the floor.
They buried themselves in the nest of scratchy wools and soft linens, urging the storm to pass.
Eventually, both of their masks came undone.

Standing in the Mouth of a Scream.
Screaming Heads, Midlothian Castle and Gallery, Burks Falls Ontario
We went here, and it was fantastic. The weather was warm and super sunny, and the trees were all-the-colours.
I'd like to visit again when it's dark, moody, and without the children. Holy magic in this place. It was all I could do to stop myself from casting circle and doing dances within. (I still danced. Don't doubt it for a minute. But didn't allow myself a deep trance state. Oh mama.)
When I crawled in bed that eve, I dreamed myself there. I spent a lot of time among the heads, the riders, the claws. We chatted (although some were VERY very silent.) And I talked to a man that wandered the property. It turned from day to night and from one season to the next. I was wearing a poetically impractical dress, and wrote madly in a book I carried. I slept in corners and crevaces, I danced around a fire, I woke with chipmunks curled into every corner of me, and spiders in my hair.
I am 5 feet tall. Standing in the mouth of a Scream. All the poetry is here. I might have to rent a room somewhere in Burks Falls for a week, and just haunt the grounds of this place, writing poetry. Wearing an impractical dress.

Sometimes this happens.
However, I need to also check my phones to make sure they are all charged up and ready to go! I'll be reading as long as I can, so feel free to get in the phone line up by clicking the grey call button, to be next to talk to me, as soon as I log on or after I'm finished with the next caller in line!

STUFF and THINGS.
Sometimes STUFF happens to the Tarot Lady who's normally the person who people go to for advice... And the Tarot Lady has to work extra hard to get the advice for herself. (And she also cringes a little at being referred to as "Lady." She just swears too much for that. Heh.)
Anyway, a few weeks ago the Universe SEEMED to be lining something up perfect. I've been diligently getting into the flow with a THING, and all seemed to be coming together. It seemed inevidible. The THING I had been focusing on for.. (counts on fingers) at LEAST 14 years, was HERE.
...And then it wasn't. The answer, after filling out forms and having everything point to "this is how this is going to happen for you and your family!" ended in.. "Oh, you don't qualify."
So. This week has been about me working on paying attention to where the flow IS, not where I want it to be. 14 years is a LONG time, and I'm challenged with finding where I should be focused, when I spent so long focusing on this one THING.
When I get like this, I sort of feel like I have no business advising anyone else. So, I've been writing. I've been dreaming, and writing them down. I've been bouncing it off my closest of close friends.
I've come to realize first, and sort of seperately from the actual THING, that it's sometimes a challenge to ask for help. But, what a relief when I find that the help is THERE. I feel loved and cared for. Is that how clients feel, when they come to me looking for help? I hope they do.
I've also been aware that I'm doing FAR more Medium/Channelling STUFF than pulling out the cards to inquire about the material or touchable futures for clients. I think it must just be easier for me... I'm not really ME in those moments, anyway.
I'm working on it. I'll be diving into parties soon with OCTOBER looming. (I love parties.)

Challenges. I Know Better.
I am going to have to get some new tarot cards. Soon.
Functional ones. Not just ones to collect. :)
I currently use my Druid Craft Tarot for every reading. I might switch to my Rider Waite deck or my Morgan Greer deck on occasion. But the Druit Craft is the one I use most. And they are WORN.
The edges are soft, some of the cards have little bends (or in the case of the 5 of Swords, a BIG bend). Because the deck is so big, I shuffle them as if they were standing up, and it's worn the bottom bits of all the cards from where my hands touch them. (As a rule, I don't read my cards inverted, or upside down. Occasionally they will sneak into a reading that way, and that is always a cause for me to pay extra attention in my reads. However, I'll put it back in the deck right side up after the reading.)
Now, I've read posts on clipping the edges off (the borders) and using a groovy scrap booking paper corner clipper to make them have nice rounded edges. But I have yet to do that.
I guess part of my challenge is that I know I work well with the Druid Craft tarot, and that's the deck I will buy again. But, I will most likely buy another deck too. A new deck might be nice to work with.
The catch is that I'm just trying to stay afloat with bills. I'm behind nearly every month. There's no extra to buy a new deck. But if I don't have a new deck soon, I won't be able to do readings, that are paying the bills.
I KNOW. I know better than this. I know how to make the magic. I think it's just been on my mind lately, and I'm formulating how to get the Law of Attraction methods working for me, and in the mean time chewing through all the challenges.
SO. Dear Universe. I LOVE working with my Druid Craft Tarot deck. It is my tool to give great readings to people who come for guidance and answers. This deck helps me SERVE. The deck I have is pretty worn and well loved. I will use it until you deliver a new deck into my hands to replace it, so that I may continue to serve.

Midland Psychic and Holistic Expo, Ontario.
So, This is happening in town, August 22, 23 and 24th.
Someone asked me if I was going to be attending this as a reader. I can't remember who. However, it just didn't make sense to me.
To have me pay for the table, to have you pay to get in the door, and then pay to see me? I'd have to charge you a smidge more than normal. You'd have to pay to get in, and then pay that smidge more to see me. We are ALL paying far too much this way, and that's NOT how I keep my rates low low low.
Now, I'm sure there are going to be some readers there, that are from out of town. So, for them, this makes sense to be involved with this. But, live in Midland. I have an office in town. AND I can also come to you, or meet you downtown, to do your personal reading. In a quiet setting, that won't be filled with other readers and other energies. (Oh, I've DONE those shows, and normally I have a great time at them. Usually I'm doing them to support a charity, though. But, all the talk going on around us, can be distracting. Heaven forbid I pick up someone elses Great Granny when I"m trying to pick up YOURS! haha!)

Someone asked me if I was going to be attending this as a reader. I can't remember who. However, it just didn't make sense to me.
To have me pay for the table, to have you pay to get in the door, and then pay to see me? I'd have to charge you a smidge more than normal. You'd have to pay to get in, and then pay that smidge more to see me. We are ALL paying far too much this way, and that's NOT how I keep my rates low low low.
Now, I'm sure there are going to be some readers there, that are from out of town. So, for them, this makes sense to be involved with this. But, live in Midland. I have an office in town. AND I can also come to you, or meet you downtown, to do your personal reading. In a quiet setting, that won't be filled with other readers and other energies. (Oh, I've DONE those shows, and normally I have a great time at them. Usually I'm doing them to support a charity, though. But, all the talk going on around us, can be distracting. Heaven forbid I pick up someone elses Great Granny when I"m trying to pick up YOURS! haha!)

So. Many. Books.
I wandered into a New Agey book store today while on a visit to Elmvale. I was waiting for something to jump off the shelf and beg me to take it home. What happened was a lot of "Got it, got it, have a version of it, read it & wasn't crazy about it, got it.." I didn't end up taking anything home.
And now as I sit here looking at my book shelf I realize, there's a whole lotta books shoved on there, ones that don't exacty fit either, that have been on my "to read" list for some time. Some of those are on my "to sell" list, too.
This is one half of the bookshelf, anyway...
I DO have some titles already listed for sale at my Vintage Witch online store... There are SO many more... I could probably open my OWN New Agey type book store!
We visited Elmvale today. They have their Farmers Market and Flea Market every Thursday and Sunday. It's always got a crazy amount of vendors. So many curious things! I forgot my camera though. We're going to go back on Thursday, and I'm going to take a tonne of pictures of all the curious things!

Adventure Time!
Went to the library today. It's rare that I take books from the library,because I have a pretty extensive library of my own. However:
I grabbed these. Yoga Wisdom and Practice. I am ready to add something extra to my Yoga routine. And, The Gifts of Imperfection by Brene Brown. This title zapped me when I touched it, running my fingers down the spines of all the titles. Which clearly means I must read it.
And then I grabbed Head Massage, and Essential Massage. I'm still working on finishing up my Holistic Massage course, and I was looking for Indian Head massage, but this was as close as I could come. Have to drag my massage table out and get some loved ones on that table to practice!
And yes. Strength Training Anatomy. Because last night, I FEEL I was challenged to follow through on an Adventure. Which involves swinging around a pole. Hahaha! To be clear, I will NOT be getting naked. Just swinging on a pole. But most likely I will be in underwear. Oh My Gods. Or maybe work out shorts. Those shorty short ones. And Oh My Goddess, I just don't ever want to say "I wish I had tried that." when I'm 70.
And yes, I'm convinced that READING all about this will help my upper body strength. Cackle. However, I might be getting up on stage with all of my "Gifts of Imperfections."

Have YOU Tried It? First Accupuncture Treatment Ever!
I had my first Accupuncture Treatment EVER!
Yes, I was a little apprehensive. And then I had to laugh, because I have TATTOO'S. How could I be scared of one little needle, when I've sat for hours getting a hundred little needles??? Too funny.
He treated me for my lungs and general wellness. And said a lot of things about meridians and Yin and Yang energy. Mostly stuff I couldn't concentrate on, because he was tapping needles in me. Haha!
BUT, this morning, I'm so happy to report, I didn't have to use my inhaler! Usually I use it before I even open my eyes in the morning. I've been awake for 2 hours now, and it's SO curious to me! I keep sitting still to be conscious of my lungs... and realizing "Nope! Don't need the inhaler right now!"
I'm pretty tickled.
The needles were super small, (thin) and although I was aware of them, I wasn't in PAIN. There is a point between the thumb and first finger that is STILL AWARE.. and it was a challenge to try and forget about it during the treatment.
I think I may have found a new THING to add to my wellness regime.

Rock Star
Today, I avoided disaster.
I was at home, taking pictures for an online store that I'm starting. I was having a tea, and in my fuzzy jammy pants, and enjoying the sunshine. I had a Reflexology appointment at 11, so I felt I could take my time and ease into the day.
Until the phone rang.
It was the Office. Asking me if I forgot that I had 2 tarot readings this morning. I was to begin at 9am.
It was 9:10am.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh snap.
Got dressed, slapped some natural deoderant on, threw my cards into my bag, and drove to the office at a REASONABLE pace... all the while talking myself out of a freak out inside.
I parked the car, shades neatly in place, hair a big ole' mess, and thought.. "Did I wash last nights make up off?" Deeeep breath.
Luckily my clients were extremely forgiving. I think I read an extra 15 minutes for both of them.
Ofcourse, once I get everything in place in the office, everything runs smoothly. (lights on, cards on the table, shoes off.)
Even when I enter the room like a dishevelled rock star.

I Had a Psychic Reading!
I saw a Reader on Saturday night!
Saturday afternoon I WAS the reader at a party, so when I arrived at the party I was invited to, I hoped that the reader I was to see wouldn't pick up stuff that wasn't mine. I'm pretty good about cleansing, but even still...
This reader did things FAR differently from how I do things, and it took me a minute to extend myself and just ALLOW.
She had a massage/reiki table set up, and she asked me to lay down. She started hovering her hands over my body and then touching (and holy moly, this woman BUZZED. Mind you, she had read 4 people before me, so I'm guessing she was in the ZONE.)
She asked me my name, and I responded "Lori" instead of the full "Lori-Grace." That seemed important. She asked if I were the only Lori upstairs. Yes, I was. She said "Your name has been coming through loudly all night. There are a few who are here just for you." Which made me glad I came. I had forgotten about the party, after being tired from my own. I was sitting at my computer at 4:59, when I remembered the party started at 5!
She breathed and focused, and pretty quickly she started to get 'stuff.' She picked up some family members, who I was surprised to hear from. She picked up a member of my family that lives with me every day (in spirit) as we share a soul grouping. I am part of her reincarnation, so the reader was really confused. I told her "you have it perfectly." even though she was really trying to work it out. She got some specifics of the nature of my family, she got names, and she told me specifics about how the family member that lives with me/ is me, passed away. But, I was eager to get to the MESSAGES! Give me the guidance that I'm looking for, and my own Guides are being quiet about!
However, she didn't have any for me. I was absolutely THRILLED with what she did pull out, though.
It was wonderful that she was able to read me at ALL. My experience with most readers is that they can't really read me. And usually I read for myself - My guides and dreams are PRETTY loud.
I felt really good after it. I was SO happy that she GOT stuff about me, that she COULDN'T have even researched online. All that stuff is MY private quiet stuff. (you know, until my tell-all book comes out. Ha!) It was beautiful validation about what I do, too.
Oh, and then last night, on my way back from the bathroom at 2am, I heard a very loud metallic sound. Something had fallen, and bounced. I turned on the light, but without my glasses and being half asleep, I couldn't see much. This morning, one of my daughters said "Were you up at 2am? I saw the light go on." At first, I didn't remember, and then it all came back, and I started looking on the floor. Sure enough, there was a quarter on the floor, next to the floor boards by my son's room.
Validation! Today is going to be a magical day. I think I'll have to be sure to wear pants with a pocket, so I can carry that quarter around.

Rub the Buddah Belly! 20 Years?!
Sometime in the next month or two, it will be 20 years since I bought my first Tarot Deck. (I just remember it was warm, and I was full of growing baby...) I bought them in a little shop in 'the next town over' on the main street. (That shop is long gone. I believe it was called The Labyrinthe... But I might be wrong. Mother-Brain and all.)
I can't even remember what compelled me. I marched across the street and into the store, belly out, and was out in less than 10 mintues with a brand new Rider Waite deck. I was on a mission. I honestly don't remember what FUELLED me to be so pointed in the task. There was no browsing that day. There was no touching of all the things. Right up to the counter. "I need a starter tarot deck."
I've been a lot of places, and learned SO much in the lst 20 years! I look back at that green, cheeky looking girl, and I want to pat her on the head, and then maybe rub the Buddah Belly, and say "Thanks!"
I still have that deck. It is in great condition, considering it's age. I will mainly pull it out for business/work/money/school type questions. It has a very serious energy. How serious must I have been in my 20's, to have put that sort of energy into it! haha!
Sometime I'll tell you the story of how I came to focus on this gift so very intensely!

Oooh mama, it's gonna get busy!
It's Sunday, and I just finished ALL the email readings that were waiting for me. Sunday seems to be my catch up day for these.
I was looking at my schedule for the coming week - and I already need a nap! Or a dance party! I'm pretty excited about it.
Every day is booked up, until Friday May 2nd (What? We're in MAY already???) So if you were hoping for an in person reading this week, it's gonna have to be Friday! You can call the office directly, or connect with me through Facebook to secure your time.
On Thursday, May 1st (MAY DAY!) I'll be reading for charity at the Midland Cultural Centre, from 7pm to 11pm. However, you would have had to have purchased tickets for this Rotary Club Event.
HOWEVER, on Wednesday, May 7th, I'll be at Canadian Tire in Midland, doing some fun interactive tarot games for the Jump Start charity program. This would be a lovely time to come and meet me, say hello, and get a quick little reading. (They'll be short that day, as they are expecting hundreds of ladies to come through, but I'll bring my date book for party scheduling and individual readings. Bookings made that evening will get a special price ;) just so ya know.)

I Won an Easter Basket! Thanks, Universe!
I won an Easter gift basket today! Let me tell you the Secret of how I won.
I entered the draw some time ago. It was in support of a lovely purpose - The proceeds were being raised to be donated to a program that put books into school libraries and school classes.
I bought the ticket, without really thinking about it as a prize. I felt happy to be supporting a lovely purpose. I love books! And I loved books as a child in a BIG EXCITED way! My vibration was not concerned with the prize, but with what my money was going to do for the end recipients.
Today, when I won, this was a big surprise! And I thought, "How did this happen?" And I remembered back to the day I purchased the ticket. My vibration was one of love, of happiness, of abundance out into the world.
When I picked up the basket today, I knew my kids would want the EOS lip balm in there, and I looked and thought of all the directions I was going to re-gift everything else in the basket. And then I saw something in there that I hadn't seen the day I entered the draw for it, or even until I got home... THE RED BOOK.
I have been journalling every day since participating in the month long Law of Attraction Coaching Sessions. I have a book of Thankfulness, and a book of Wisdom. My book of Wisdom is currently a dollar store coil book with a cute poppy cover. THIS book is earmarked to be my next book of Wisdom, when that one is full. And it's getting there.
What you vibrate out energetically and emotionally, you recieve back. I was excited and full of love for kids to get books that mean so much to them, and of bringing them knowledge, discoveries, a-ha moments! I recieved that exact gift back for myself.
The basket itself will most likely come into my Reflexology and Tarot office to hold the free gifties I offer my clients. Now I get to have fun regifting all the other goodies in there!

Cards of the Day - March 26
Oooh, Good Morning.
I'm happy to report my dreams have gone back to normal, after doing a Cord Severing ritual. (As normal as my dreams get. I was still busy visiting all over the place. )
My cards of the day today are:
My flash...flashed off my 7 of Wands, and I'd rather have a a better pic... but... I'm still waking up.
Anywhoooo...
I pulled my "Spirit and Just for Me." card first (centre) which, is the 7 of Wands. Simply, this said to me, my spidey senses are on,and I'll see what's coming before it arrives today.
Then, I pulled my Love card (left card) Queen of Wands came up. I looked at her for a bit, but felt undecided. What could she mean? Is she ME? Is she someone I must extend love to today??
So, then I pulled my "Work and Business" card. OOOooOOO! The Magician! He's LOVELY. He tells me I have all the tools and to remember that I'm MAGIC and completely capable of doing ALL THE THINGS required for the success I'm looking for.
And then I looked back at the Queen of Wands,... I have a FEELING I know who needs my love extended to them today.
Anyway. I have only consumed half the tea that is in my photo RIGHT NOW... Yes, I'm drinking from a Christmas Cup. It's March 26th. It snowed again last night. I have to look at the moon, and get tomato and beet seeds started SOON. You know. Incase we actually get some SPRING and summer.
Anyway. I'm feeling pretty GOOD today. Even after sharing my bed with a sword. Ha! I'll get a pic of that too...

Wowza! Live Law of Attraction
GOOD things are ZOOMIN around here!
I've got some new Psychic Tarot business cards, a new banner, and some introduction cards (for when I do readings at the Farmers Market) coming from Vista Print. They were having an amazing sale, and I jumped on it. The Markets are coming up, and I'm so eager for them. I love dressing up and reading at markets!
Also, I've been asked to come to three different fundraising events that will be happening in May!
*On May 1st, the Midland Rotary Club has it's Ladies Night fundraiser, where I'll be doing short reads for the guests who sign up to be read with me.
*The Canadian Tire Ladies night, in support of their Jump Start program, is happening on the 6th or 7th. I still have to get some details on this one. This one I'll be doing short fun, one card interactive tarot reads.
*And, on May 20th, I'll be at Bamboo Spa doing mini reads in support of the Georgian Bay Cancer Support Centre.
I'm really excited about meeting new people on those days!
Other things that are happening? I'm getting far more calls and appointments for tarot and Reflexology at the Health Works Centre office. I'm also regularly seeing email readings in my inbox when I wake in the morning. I'm working with people who are ready and eager for what I have to offer them.
I've also been making room and getting some things accomplished in the area of "Lori-Grace writes books." (Something I really wanted to work on, but hadn't been finding the time.)
SO much is happening, so much energy is flowing, and I give SO much credit to my connection and work with Linda, of Live Law of Attraction.
Sometimes, even the coach needs a coach.
I connected with Linda immediately. Her personality, her interests, her stories... even the tone of her voice and the sound of her laughter had me feeling on the same energy wave with her. I was so INCREDIBLY delighted and surprised at how FAST she led me through some blockages and healing. On our first call, I was open and ready for what was needed to get things MOVING with me. She led me to the right places, with the right questions. Linda's style of coaching brought the answers I needed out in SUCH a simple way, I finished each call feeling lighter and optimistic. I also love that she gave me some suggestions on things I could work on during the week. The habits formed in that month of calls has REALLY paid off. Spiritually,and in my business.
I've been practicing everything I learned through the month of coaching continually, and I'm seeing touchable, tangeable proof of our work together, and my continuing work with Law of Attraction.
I am thankful for how busy I've been.
I am thankful for having made connection with Linda's lovely energy.
I am thankful for all that her coaching has gifted to me, and how I can pay that forward to my own client connections.
Okay. That's what I wanted to say today. :)

5 of Swords.... Card of the Day
There are big things happening in my dream world. Which is extremely real for me, and a place I LIVE.
These sentences might call into question parts of my personality. Those parts of my personality don't usually care so much about being questions. Let's carry on....
So, this is what I posted on my Facebook this morning. (Which might also call into question my level of sanity. Is sanity subjective?)

have been having someone show up rather persistently in my sleep. And
this might be the only place to actually COMMUNICATE with this person
about THIS.
This person is in my face, then hides. Holds my hands so I must look into their face for ages, hovering above them, but says NOTHING. Then they send me dream messages and letters that they want to connect, but then have the words screened. They continue to REACH OUT and then RUN AWAY. This is has been going on for ... at least the last 4 nights consistently. On and off for ages.
Their strength to be able to DO this is impressive to me - Points for THAT. It took me a long time to be able to do what they are doing. I knew they had the potential for big things, never figured they'd DO anything with it. I know that to be able to DO what they are doing, there is BIG emotion behind it.
So here's the deal. You have TODAY to explore this thing. TODAY to say OUT loud in real life, what it is you want to say to me. I know time is 'Timey Wimey', but THIS is the day that this gets settled.
Then, I had a tea, and am attempting to wake. Then, I pulled my card of the day:

So. I spent the day feeling... Romanced. By a ghost. Of someone who isn't dead.
Backtrack. Back in January, I had a dream starring Steve Martin. And me. It was Awesome. I woke feeling loved and flirty and giddy and connected. And like I was being watched over by someone who is handsome and funny and strong and capable of making MAGIC.
Today, Steve Martin was just IN MY HEAD. And somehow touching my skin. It felt like he was following me around the thrift store. Reminding me. "Oh hey. I think you're the most adorable Lori-Grace ever! Are you doing what you love to do? Are you bringing love into everything you are doing? I"m checking in on you!!! "
It was quiet in the store. I went upstairs to clean. And that turned into a quick glance at the book shelf for Sci Fi or Fantasy titles.. and THIS jumps out at me. I see the title first, and giggle, because it's how I refer to myself when I'm working at the thrift store:
(by the time I think to take a pic, I had already opened it randomly and read the first love scene... which made me want more... and then taken it downstairs to put in the pile of "I'm taking this home, charge me on payday.")
So. The rest of the day was peculiar. EVERY one who walked in held some sort of mystery for me to romance out of them. Or maybe I was just full of the feeling of adoration, that it made the whole feel of the afternoon DIFFERENT...
I haven't worked it all out yet. I only just got home, and need to spend some more time thinking about it all.
This may require a long hot bath.

And THIS jumps out at me... and I LAUGH out loud in the empty store. And then wonder "What are you up to, Mr. Martin??"

My Cards of the Day
Even though I'm pretty horrible with consistently pulling cards every day.
It's been a bit of a wild ride in my magical environment the last few weeks. Today felt like a good day to pull some cards. I have 3 decks that are my favourite.
My Morrigan Greer, which get used exclusively for Love readings.
My Druid Craft Tarot, which is my go-to deck. I use them for big questions, spirit questions, general life questions. All the questions!
And, my Rider Waite deck. I use these primarily for business questions.
So, here are my cards for today, from each one... My question usually is "What should I pay attention to today?"
So, The Morrigan Greer deck gave me The Knight of Pentacles. And I LAUGH AND LAUGH AND LAUGH. Because it's my Love deck. and my Manly Man always comes up as The Knight of Pentacles.
On the other side is the Rider Waite deck with the Wheel of Fortune for my business. The Wheel of Fortune? Perhaps something really really good is in the works for my business? Today is one of the few days I DON'T have any sort of work scheduled!
And, the middle deck is the Druid Craft. So for just ME, my spiritm, I drew the Fferyllt.
Right off the top, .. well. YEAH. It's been heavy magic making for the last 2 weeks around here. Looking closer... I'm definately looking for harmony. It's been a LOT of Fire and Water around here. Also, looking for balance within all this ... there's an alchemy going on within me, and it's been bubbling. The Fferyllt is to remind me to remember I KNOW how to balance between Spirit and Earth, and to remind me that I work towards goals with CREATIVITY.
These cards will sit on my little altar in the livingroom, next to the crystal ball. I will meditate on them.
Now, to put on a bra, get out into the world, and Be the Magic!!!

A Little Habit
I forgot about this little habit I used to have.
Sitting in the chinese/Canadian restaurant, and writing. I use up a table for 4, so it's good to get there early, or be there when no one else is.
I love writing. It helps me work though stuff.
My favourite spot is closest to the window. So I can daydream across downtown.

DUCK FACE!
I also help out with taking photos for their Facebook page. I just have ALL the fun with it. This is me. Taking a photo of a MIRROR that's for sale.
So, I'm doing phone call readings this morning. This is something I'm going to be making myself more available for now. Ofcourse, I still LOVE doing email readings, too, and will still be doing lots of those. Email readings are great if you want to have the physical reading to refer to for the coming days or months!
So, I guess I had better make sure my reading room is set up, and stop posting selfies.

We Are The Villagers "Girls Night Out."
We Are The Villagers is an organization in our town that helps children get involved in extra curricular activities, who might not otherwise have the opportunity due to the cost of some of these programs. WATV welcomes them into the "Village", and pays for the programs for them.
And what's even nicer, is the little Villagers have their choice of programs from within the community to choose from. Art, Scouting, Gymnastics, Music, Figure Skating... from what I've seen, the program is allowing kids to do what ever it is they are interested in.
On Monday, March 16th , from 5 - 9pm at The Library Restaurant, is hosting a "Girls Night Out" party, as a fundraiser for all the little Villagers. The details are not all completely worked out yet. However, I have gladly accepted the invitation to donate my time that eve, to read cards for the ladies who are attending the Girls Night Out.
I'm so looking forward to connecting with all the lovely ladies, and supporting this wonderful charity and all the heart-space work they do!

Me? Shy? Yeah, I said it.
You know how when you allow life to just flow, it floats you to your destination pretty effortlessly?
Yes, well, that thing is happening in my life right now.
I've been busier with Reflexology clients, and as always I have a steady stream of folks who come to see me for Readings. And on the other side of that, my OTHER job at the thrift store and I have not been able to line ourselves up very well. I'm busy with appointments when she seems to need me. She's hiring some more part time help, as I just haven't been able to cover what she needs.
So today I realized, since my datebook seems to be a tool for organization that keeps my attention, I'm going to have to start scheduling myself in for phone reading availability.
I know, I know, we've heard this one before. I've discovered my issue is I get an intense SHYNESS when it comes to getting on the phone. What is up with that? Once I'm ON the phone, I'm A-OK. It's just the lead-up to log-on.
This evening I'll be looking at the datebook, seeing what is already booked for Reflexology and live readings in there, and SCHEDULING myself for phone reading availability.
Of all people, I KNOW it's only painful until it becomes habit. After that, easy peasy.

Wholeness in Spiritual and Physical Halves.
I love learning. I really do.
I'm also really really enjoying doing ONLY what I'm supposed to be doing, in terms of life path and purpose. It's sort of scary at first, letting go of all the things that don't serve your soul purpose, but have maybe become habit.
There are jobs that I've had that seemed to have served no purpose other than to collect the cash at the end of the week. I found when I stopped while in the habit of the day within jobs I didn't necessarily love, and asked "show me what I'm supposed to be learning here, so that I can move on from this." The answers come pretty quickly.
As well as sitting with people for the purpose readings (Tarot, Psychic, or Medium.) I am also a Reiki Reflexologist. This is very satisfying work. It is healing and connecting.
In addition to that, I'm NEARLY finished a Holistic Massage course. It ties in with Reiki for me, Healing Touch, and the basic human need for touch, so this makes me happy. (I listed a pile of my Palmistry books for sale today. I realized that I would never learn palmistry... All I really wanted to do was touch peoples hands and make the physical connection!)
Hand Reflexology, Indian Head Massage and Indian Face Massage are on my list as well. For the same reasons - Touch, Healing, and Reiki are important to me.
I'm reading spiritual and metaphysical books all the time - These things are what fills my head - Putting together the Spiritual side and the Physical side to find Wholeness.
The more attention I give to my absolute Joy in serving in this way, the more opportunities I'm given. The opportunity to serve my soul purpose gives me so much pleasure and happiness.
Life is Good. I just felt like touching base, and letting you know what was occupying my mind just before bed :)

Time Travel and Blessings.
I'm feeling pretty blessed. I'm so thankful to be able to use my healing and psychic medium THING on a nearly daily basis, for others. I'm so grateful to do what I love for a living. It made me think of where I've been, and the type of work that I've done before getting here. The type of life I had before now. More importantly, the quality of my emotional life... There was a time I thought I'd never be happy. There was a time I thought I would never get anywhere. There were times I felt like giving up on myself completely. My future seemed empty.
Today, I am so thankful. I had a reading in the morning. I had two people for some reiki/reflexology this afternoon in their home. It was a wonderful day. This work fulfills me. This work leaves me feeling wonderful.
Sometimes, I meditate back to the Lori-Grace who was tired and lonely and at her wits end, and console her. Try to let her know that it DOES get better, and to just hang on.
And sometimes, I travel forward, and talk to the Lori-Grace who REALLY has it all together, and she consoles me, tells me it gets even BETTER, and it all works out alright.
